Always intrigued by the art of recording, Stefano graduated with a degree in computer science for music from the University of Milan and moved to England in 2012 to study the famous Tonmeister course in music and sound recording at the University of Surrey. During his years as an engineer at the iconic Abbey Road Studios, Stefano worked on major pop and classical acts including The Beach Boys, Mary J Blige, One Direction, Andrea Bocelli and the BBC Orchestra, plus the 50th anniversary reissues of The White Album and Abbey Road. Stefano’s wide-ranging musical knowledge (from orchestral film scores to rock) and score reading abilities lead to soundtrack engineering for some of the biggest Hollywood films including The Hobbit: The Battle of the Five Armies, The Martian, Avengers: Endgame and Rocketman, plus video games Halo 5: Guardians, Assassin’s Creed Unity and the latest Final Fantasy.
