Lorena Perez-Batista

Lorena Perez Batista started her musical journey at an early age in her hometown of Punto Fijo, Venezuela. She then travelled to the United States to study Composition and Production at Miami Dade College and Berklee College of Music. Lorena now lives in Los Angeles, where she works as a session drummer, composer and orchestrator. She worked closely with composer and pianist Joachim Horsley, on shows like Disney's Big City Greens, as an assistant and orchestrator, and on Joachim's album Via Havana. Since 2017 Lorena has been on the music team of film composer, producer, and guitarist Tyler Bates, recording percussion and composing additional music for projects such as Fast and Furious presents: Hobbs and Shaw, John Wick 3, The Punisher, and Deadpool 2.
